I don't like companies or individuals that SPAM me continually so here is a warning. Sites like coolstats.com should be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.
Here's some FREE advice if you are after...
I don't host adverts on my site but I get an extremely good "feel" for the number of unique visitors by offering a relevant PDF booklet for FREE download. The number of downloads per day is fairly constant and tells me exactly how many *interested* visitors I attract. (The booklet contains adverts of course).
In addition, I give away a catalogue for download - even more relevant PLUS it gets my catalogue onto the visitor's PC where he/she can read it later or pass it to a friend - greatly increasing the chances of a sale!
Maybe you could offer to host your advertisers catalogues for download? Ideally they should be cross-platform PDF and no more than 1Mb file size.
Think along these lines and not only will you have more accurate statistics but you'll also be offering your advertisers and visitors a valuable service that they will probably not find elsewhere. How many of your competitors can promise "We'll give away 1000+ of your catalogues each week to carefully targetted potential customers"? Better than a random mailshot through letter boxes!
